Last minute changes made before filming

Over time the idea has changed so the victim is now a male teen instead of female as this may attract a larger female audience, we had to adapt to this change on the day as the girl we were intending to have act was unavailable which is why one of the members of my group had to play the male victim, the 2 killers are now 1 killer who is not just gaining entry but is instead a hired hitman taking out a target by posing as a cleaner, this was done due to the two actors we had intended to play these roles were also unavailable which is why I personally had to act as the killer due to actors not being available, the location also changed from a secluded empty house to a more lived in classic family home that allows a more believable story line, this was due to the empty house we had intended to se was actually sold before we started filming which is why the location was changed to suit the plot in a more accessible method, the teen is still technology obsessed and is unable to focus on the real world, instead of having numerous murder tools we have one knife in order to be as efficient as possible, this was due to the fact that we did not have access to numerous killing tools as we should have but we adapted to use a classic tool which is commonly used in murders and is more easily available, the murder style is still dexter like as we use the plastic sheeting idea in order to keep it clean however we decided not to have a dismembered body place into car in plastic bags as this seemed too excessive and would take up too much time of the actual film so instead the film ends on a fade out after the murder, we have also decided to add in the rules concept like the ones used in zombieland as we think this will not only make the film more accessible to the audience but will also broaden our demographic as we now have a slight comedic element, overall the changes made before filming ended up suiting the idea as a whole.
