Films similar to idea and explanation of influence

Dexter

 
-dexter has been used for our idea as the way that dexter sets up a murder scene is an ideal killing method and we will use similar features such as the plastic sheets in a room, the syringe to knock the person out and the laying out of the tools and the bin bags however we have improved his method so the room is empty meaning cleaning up is easier as well as no unforeseen complications

The Fall


- this has been used to highlight how we are going to deal with the body as we are going to have cut up body parts but we will be placing them in bin bags instead as a method of removal which is efficient and tidy

American Psycho

-this kill scene is from a clip in american psycho and is exactly the kind of thing that we want, a clean, well prepared and well equipped killer but less of a nut case and more of socio-path, our killer is doing it for a reason but this guy has everything but does it for fun

Zombieland


-from this film we are going to use the idea of having rules to kill, except our rules are going to be based on how to pull of a murder and not how to avoid zombies, we are just using the aspect of rules in order to perform an action as not only provides a guide and stages to our film but also sets up which scenes are going to be filmed in what way in order to have the rules appear either before, during or after an action has been completed

Pulp Fiction

-This film is about the lives of two mob hit men, a boxer, a gangster's wife, and a pair of diner bandits intertwine in four tales of violence and redemption. This film provides the idea of a hit-man type kill which we used as a basis for our film, the fact that we have an expert and trained killer allows you to kill in any method as you can almost guarantee they will be successful, but the surprise that anyone can kill also helped us make our movie by using a hit man posing as a cleaner character who is unsuspecting gives reason as to why it is so easy to kill.
















Man bites Dog

-this film is very relatable to ours as it involves a regular man with a regular day job who goes into people's house and kills them, this is similar to our idea as we instead use a killer posing as a cleaner who easily gains entry into the victims house on a normal day and while pretending to be a cleaner kills them and then cleans up afterwards but using the victims house is a clever tactic as there is a lack of effort need to find a location as well as you being alone and unsuspecting as a regular looking person
